Durant mon  enfance, mon cher oncle Gilles, qui était musicien, possèédait des centaines de disques que je pouvaist écouter à ma guise. Chet Atkins et Joe Pass, deux célèbres virtuoses de la guitare, me sont tombés dans l'oreille. J'aimais cette idée qu'un seul guitariste pouvait arriver à reproduire  à lui seul l'arangement d'un orchestre. Je rêvais de pouvoir arriver un jour à faire la même chose...
   Je vous présente ici mes interprétations d'une sélection de pièces de Noël dont les mélodies me bercent depuis ma tendre jeunesse.
  La création de cet album est grandement inspirée par les souvenirs chéris de mon enfance pour cette période magique qu'est le temps des fêtes.
  Je le dédieé à Nicole, Julie, Patrick Gravel, Yvan, Samuel, Philippe Marie-Pier, mes petites filles Charlotte et Florence, Jean et Dany, Papa et Marie-Berthe ma Mère et tous les enfants de la terre.

During my childhood, my dear uncle Gilles, who was a musician, owned hundreds of records that I could listen to at will. Chet Atkins and Joe Pass, two famous guitar virtuosos, fell in my ears. I liked the idea that a single guitarist could manage to reproduce the arrangement of an orchestra on his own. I dreamed of one day being able to do the same thing ...
I present here my interpretations of a selection of Christmas pieces whose melodies have rocked me since my tender youth.
The creation of this album is also inspired by the cherished memories of my childhood for this magical period of the holidays.
I dedicate it to Nicole, Julie, Patrick Gravel, Yvan, Samuel, Philippe Marie-Pier, my granddaughters Charlotte and Florence, Jean and Dany, Papa and Marie-Berthe my Mother and all the children of the earth.
